A family business success story

In 1988 Rhonda Martin began her career in the hearing health care field with the sole purpose of helping people with hearing loss improve their quality of life.

Rhonda’s caring nature was evident from the beginning – including her willingness to ride her bicycle around Toronto to visit homes and provide a range of hearing health care services to her many clients.

She opened her first hearing health care clinic in 1991 and soon after joined forces with her sister Lisa Martin who came on board to help with the business aspects of providing professional, community based hearing health care services.

Guided by core values

With Rhonda as the Hearing Health Care Professional and Lisa managing operations the family business continued to grow based on a set of core values and strong business ethics.

Recognizing the strong fit between their own values and the values held by Sears, the two entered into a partnership with Sears in the year 2000.

Working together Rhonda, Lisa and Sears continue to meet their mutual goal of providing easily accessible community based hearing health care services, and a truly exceptional, warm and inviting customer service experience.
